This pivotal Public Infrastructure project draws elements from Biophilic design to emphasize importance of sustainability in a project of this scale. From a fractal halftone facade to the dendriform columns and inbuilt vertical greens for air quality and humidity control, this design was intended not only to make the commuters travel visually pleasing , but also incorporate active and passive systems of climate control without air conditioning. The modular facade with scalable openings responded to local adjacencies of buildings and vegetation to enable light and ventilation as per site conditions to form a modular but non generic cohesive solution . Solar photovoltaics, rain water harvesting , acoustic and thermal insulation were built into the envelope itself to form a unified solution encompassing all ground touchpoints of staircases, escalators and elevators in a singular concept. The adaptable envelope is also compatible with vertical expansion without the need for opting for the different system.
