This project was planned in collaboration with Pei Cobb Freed & Partners New York, USA and is located in Upper Worli, Mumbai. The World Towers is nestled in South Mumbai’s most bustling address- home to top industrialists, sportspersons and celebrities. Composed of 3 towers, uniquely curvilinear in shape, The World Towers form a stunning sculpture in glass and steel, soaring into the Mumbai sky. World One, the world’s tallest residential tower, World View and World Crest, stand as a powerful symbol of Mumbai’s unfettered aspirations. The unique curvilinear shape of the towers results in residences affording generous views of the iconic landscape and breathtaking vistas of the city and beyond. The towers comprise of spacious, exquisitely designed 3-bed and 4-bed residences, the World Residences are appointed with every luxury, including panoramic city and sea views. The design of the three towers integrates seamlessly into the fluidic design of the landscaped expanse extending over a lavish 100,000 sq.ft. The project has been design in such a way that it conforms to the National Building Code, India (NBC) as well as International Building codes where NBC does not provide clarity.

SNK has been involved in the project right from the nascent stage. The role was more as an advisor for the stages of concept stage to design development. SNK plays a key role in guiding PCF-P for subjects like building codes, standard construction and detailing practices adopted in India etc. In the construction documentation stage, SNK carries out detail coordination with all relevant design consultants ensuring that the sanctity of design is not compromised. Occasionally, as required, SNK is also involved in meetings with contractors, site teams & inspections of various structural components during certain design milestones.
